Me, a passionate maker

A concept of the Prototyping Week, I was the team leader of the maker's team. We had 3 days to create 5 scale models/prototypes of concepts to boost Sonderborg's tourism sector

A low cost camera Jib I built with my company for a local video maker and photographer. We managed to make this at less than 1/10 of the normal cost!

A course on Arduino Programming I designed and taught at the SDU in Denmark. In the end I had enough material for a complete semester course in this

A scale model for an entrepreneur who invented an innovative garage box which saves considerable amounts of space because of a smart pull-in system for the car

A combination between a refrigerator and microwave designed and prototyped for the Danish Welfare organisation in order to make preparing a meal more accessible for elderly people

An exhibition I designed for a provocative exhibit in Novo Nordisk (world leader in insuline injection pens) and Oticon (large company in the hearing aids market). I designed and made all the stands, prototypes, physical elements.

Some tools to focus an old lasercutter which I made when I got really upset with the long and inefficient process of focusing it every time manually

I also just like to try things out, this is a set of different types of acrylics which I used to play around with and explore their properties

A waterproof keyboard I designed within my company. There are no moving elements (the keys are pressed based on IR reflection of your finger) so it is way easier to seal the whole package for rough outdoor use or even underwater use

The results of a series of tests to calibrate the 3D printer I built at the SDU

Not everything needs to be functional, right? A picture of me and my brothers engraved in acrylic

A passion of mine which I managed to turn into several jobs and projects is to make, mainly interactive products but also things like scale models, exhibitions and I even designed and taught a course in how to use Arduino at my master's university in Denmark. In order to do so I have extensive experience with lasercutting, 3D printing, milling, PCB milling and electronics. This section contains some work of different maker activities. I have done these as freelance projects within my company Stik Design.

Back in Sonderborg this passion for making resulted in me claiming the need for a laser cutter in the university workshop. 2 months later the machine arrived and I got a "job" to maintain the laser cutter and execute all lasercut jobs for the students. Initially people did not know very well what to do with the machine, but after an extensive Facebook campaign (my lasercutter has his own Facebook page which proudly presents all his work) people from all disciplines started to see the advantages of using such a machine and the use skyrocketed.
